A clear promise
Your words stay yours.
A plain-language explanation of cookies, advertising, translation requests, and how harf handles the words you type.
Privacy at a glance. harf is designed so you can write without an account. Ads can appear automatically as non-personalized inventory, and you can turn them off here.
What happens to your writing
Text entered into the keyboard is held in your browser tab while you use the page. harf does not require an account and does not keep a server-side writing history. Your text is not sold, used to build an advertising profile, or sent anywhere just because you typed it.
Translation requests
If you press Translate phrase, the phrase and language pair are sent to the MyMemory online translation service so it can return a translation. Translation is optional and is not required for typing, copying, or downloading. Do not submit passwords, health information, financial details, or other sensitive text for translation.
Cookies, local storage, and advertising
harf stores your language choice and advertising choice in local storage on your device. Google AdSense’s library is loaded from Google on each page. When you have not chosen, configured placements use non-personalized ad requests. Turning advertising off prevents harf from requesting configured ad placements, but does not prevent the AdSense library itself from loading. If no ad slot is configured, no ad placement appears.
Google Analytics
harf uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Google may receive page URLs, browser and device information, approximate location, and interaction data. harf does not send the Arabic text you type, translated text, passwords, or contact messages to Google Analytics.
Your choices and updates
You can decline advertising or reopen the choice above at any time. Choosing a language only changes the interface and is stored locally. This policy was last updated September 4, 2026, and will be revised if the product, translation service, analytics, or advertising setup changes.
