Terms of use

Simple tools, clear terms.

These terms explain the basic rules for using harf, its Arabic keyboard, and its optional online features.

Please note. These terms describe the current use of the harf website in plain language; they are not a guarantee that the service is suitable for every purpose.

Using harf

harf provides a browser-based Arabic keyboard and related writing tools for personal and practical use. You may use the visual keyboard, copy or download text, and choose whether to use optional features such as translation.

Use the service lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt its operation, bypass reasonable safeguards, or misuse the contact form. You are responsible for reviewing text before using or sharing it.

Your text and optional services

Text typed into the keyboard is held in your browser while you use the page. If you request translation, the selected phrase is sent to the online translation provider. Contact messages are submitted to harf for handling. Read the Privacy page for the current details before entering sensitive information.

Translation is provided for convenience. Machine translations may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be relied on for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other consequential decisions.

Availability and changes

harf is provided as an online tool and may be updated, interrupted, or changed as the service develops. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will work on every device, browser, or keyboard.

The site may display advertising. You can manage the advertising choice using the controls on the Privacy page. Advertising services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
